Fly into Lombok International Airport (LOP), near Praya in the centre-south of the island β a short 30β45 minute drive from Kuta Lombok and the main surf zone. There are frequent domestic connections from Jakarta, Surabaya and especially Bali (Denpasar), plus some regional international links.

A scooter is the default way to explore Lombok's surf coast β cheap to rent in Kuta and ideal for the dirt tracks leading to Mawi, Are Guling and the quieter bays.
